strawberry cheesecake

This past week Pravin and I had our 20 week ultrasound. I am so grateful and thankful to the Lord that this baby is healthy. As the ultrasound tech was taking all the measurements she said, "hope y'all are ready for an active baby!"haha no surprise there since Esther is her big sister. We are so so excited to meet this little girl and I can't wait to see how Esther acts with her. I know she will be the best big sister in the world. I tear up just thinking about how I am going to have two precious little girls so close in age. I hope that they will be the best of friends.

To find out the gender of this baby Pravin and I did the exact same thing we did when we found out about E. We went to Del Friscos with our sealed envelope the ultrasound tech gave us. At the end of our meal we handed the waiter the envelope and told him if it's a girl we want strawberry cheesecake and if it's a boy we want chocolate cake. Good thing Pravin's favorite dessert is strawberry cheesecake because that is what we got! Another girl! Yay!

on our way to dinner!

we can't wait to meet you sweet girl!

9 months

Today we had Esther's 9 month check up and everything looked great. She weighed 19 pounds 2 ounces (53%) and was 29 inches (90%). She is growing so fast I can hardly stand it! It seems like she should only be like 4 months right now but she is NINE! She is getting more and more active everyday. She loves to stand by herself. She started this several weeks ago but she is able to stand for longer periods of time and she loves it! She is eating anything these days, except nothing too sweet- unless she's at gramma's =). Her favorite foods are blueberries, peach yogurt, pears and peaches, graduates arrowroot cookies ( thanks nanama!), any and all bread, cheerios, baked potato, apple slices, we give her anything off of our plate and she normally tastes it but doesn't ask for more. She is still content with her milk. For some reason I am always pushing for her to drink her milk, or so it seems. She doesn't like to drink in front of other people. So when we are at my moms house it always looks like I struggle to feed her cause she would just rather play. And at the church nursery, there is no way she will drink a bottle there... she is just too interested and too active. She is sleeping so good I am so incredibly thankful. I normally tuck her in before 8 and she wakes up right around 8. Thank you, Lord! Lets pray this keeps up for when the new baby comes! speaking of new baby, tomorrow i will update you about him/her!
Pravin is the best dad ever. Really. He deserves some sort or prize. I love watching him with Esther. It is just the sweetest thing to see him walk in the door and Esther's face lights up and she crawls as fast as she can to get to him. Oh, i love my family!
