Olive is here!

Our precious daughter arrived on December 28th. I checked into the hospital at 4, was in a room around 5 and had her at 10:12pm! She came quick and was a healthy girl weighing in at 8 pounds and 15 ounces. I couldn't believe it when the nurse called out her weight. She came out looking just like Esther but she has started to take on her own look and she is as cute as can be! Pravin and I feel so blessed to be the parents of Esther and Olive and we appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers.

december so far..

We have had a wonderful December so far. Pravin and I hosted our sunday school class christmas party and had so much fun! The party turned out great and much thanks well really all the thanks goes to my mom. She helped so much in planning and preparing- thanks mom! you really are the greatest.

speaking of my mom being the best, she came over one day and totally decorated our house for Christmas. I am loving all of the decorations and I don't want to take them down! Maybe ill make a post to show you our house all decorated..

We have also been waiting on our little babe to arrive. I know she will come when she is ready and I know her birthday is already planned but it's hard to be sooo patient! She will for sure be here in two weeks! =)

Esther gets sweeter and sweeter each month. She gives us kisses, says please which sounds like "puh, puh"and I know she is loving spending so much time with her cousins.  I am really soaking up these last few days as Esther being an only child. I pray that she loves her sister and the transition is easy for her. Is it okay for me to say that I'm going to miss it just being her? I know I won't feel like that once this baby is born but thats kind of how I feel now. She is going to be the best big sister. I can hardly wait to see them together!

36 weeks

only four weeks left until this little girl arrives!! we have decided on a first name but have no ideas for a middle name.. so any suggestions? her nursery is ready and waiting, her carseat has arrived, she only has one outfit and one sleep sack- guess i should get her some clothes to wear or at least go through her big sisters old clothes and wash them. can't wait to meet this little girl!!

to beaumont we went

On Friday, we drove over to visit Pravin's family for the day. Esther and I have been sick for a several days so we didn't get to spend the night, or stay as long as we would have liked but we still had a great time. Esther was so sweet all day and she played SO hard! I don't think she sat down for one minute! It was so nice just hanging out and spending time together.

so very thankful

There are many reasons why I am so thankful but the ones that stand out the most are, Jesus and his unconditional love and mercy, my dear husband, my precious and perfect daughter, this new little blessing who will come very soon, my amazing family and my precious nieces and nephew, my husbands family, and a chance to live my life to honor the Lord. I hope you had a wonderful holiday and hopefully you had a chance to think about what makes you thankful.

on november 5th, we celebrated our sweet girl for her FIRST birthday. it was a great evening with our family and friends and i think esther really enjoyed herself. thanks to all of you who have made this first year and birthday so special. we are looking forward to this next year with esther's baby sister!
