we took a little trip to the museum the other day and had a blast! we got a membership and will be going back often!

one month

little miss olive is one month!

your first month with us as been wonderful! you are now 10+ pounds, eating well, we are working on sleeping more at night. you are sleeping every 3 hours pretty consistently. you have outgrown newborn diapers AND size ones so you're in twos! healthy girl =)

you have been so many places in your little life- inails, the church nursery, plenty of restaurants, target, HEB, the childrens museum, ect.. you are so content and happy. 

your big sister, Esther, is really falling in love with you. she comes up all the time to give you kisses and pat your back. anytime you make any kind of noise esther says "uh oh"and runs to where you are. so sweet. 

we love you, olive. 

we are so happy you are you. =)

Olive is here!

Our precious daughter arrived on December 28th. I checked into the hospital at 4, was in a room around 5 and had her at 10:12pm! She came quick and was a healthy girl weighing in at 8 pounds and 15 ounces. I couldn't believe it when the nurse called out her weight. She came out looking just like Esther but she has started to take on her own look and she is as cute as can be! Pravin and I feel so blessed to be the parents of Esther and Olive and we appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers.

december so far..

We have had a wonderful December so far. Pravin and I hosted our sunday school class christmas party and had so much fun! The party turned out great and much thanks well really all the thanks goes to my mom. She helped so much in planning and preparing- thanks mom! you really are the greatest.

speaking of my mom being the best, she came over one day and totally decorated our house for Christmas. I am loving all of the decorations and I don't want to take them down! Maybe ill make a post to show you our house all decorated..

We have also been waiting on our little babe to arrive. I know she will come when she is ready and I know her birthday is already planned but it's hard to be sooo patient! She will for sure be here in two weeks! =)

Esther gets sweeter and sweeter each month. She gives us kisses, says please which sounds like "puh, puh"and I know she is loving spending so much time with her cousins.  I am really soaking up these last few days as Esther being an only child. I pray that she loves her sister and the transition is easy for her. Is it okay for me to say that I'm going to miss it just being her? I know I won't feel like that once this baby is born but thats kind of how I feel now. She is going to be the best big sister. I can hardly wait to see them together!

36 weeks

only four weeks left until this little girl arrives!! we have decided on a first name but have no ideas for a middle name.. so any suggestions? her nursery is ready and waiting, her carseat has arrived, she only has one outfit and one sleep sack- guess i should get her some clothes to wear or at least go through her big sisters old clothes and wash them. can't wait to meet this little girl!!
