Tomorrow Esther and I are going to beaumont to visit Prav's family! We are so excited I just had to post pictures of the last time we were there!

Lots of evenings before bedtime, all three of us get on Esther's floor and play. Esther loves it and I do too! It is so fun to watch her crawl all over her room playing with everything. She crawls to the changing station and digs everything out of the baskets, and then to the bed to stand up and walk alongside it, and then to the dresser to play with the pull handles. I am cherishing each and every moment with her cause she is the absolute sweetest!!!

7 months/my tootsie roll

Happy SEVEN months, Esther! Can you believe it? I can't! You are growing so fast it's unbelievable. You have started crawling and you can go anywhere and everywhere. You are a determined little girl. You know exactly what you want and most of the time (let's be honest.. all the time) you get whatever it is you want. When you wake up in the morning you stand up almost immediately. I will go in there and sometimes you are still half asleep but your just standing there waiting for someone to come get you. Aunt Chaiss suggested that we pull out our pack and play and put some toys in it and you love it! Why didn't I think of this earlier? duh! You are playing by yourself more and more these days. You are eating crackers, toast, blueberries, puffs, and that is about it. You are very content with just your bottle. Speaking of bottle, anytime daddy or I say "do you want a bottle?" you make this certain noise almost like a laugh and you open your mouth and get ready for the bottle. Just something cute/sweet I want to remember. Your favorite word is "dada and dadada" even though I am trying my hardest to get you to say "mama" all you say is "dada". You are so special Esther. I love you more each day. My prayer for you is that you grow into a woman who loves the Lord with everything, that you love your family, that you dream big dreams (i'm dreaming big for you!), and so so much more. You bring joy to everyone around you.

cabo trip

Last weekend, we took our first vacation with just the three of us. We went to Cabo and loved every minute of it! Esther did very well on the flights.. sleeping most of the time. (Chaiss I don't know how you do it on those 10 hour flights- I am even more grateful now that you traveled alone with Ivy back in October- thank you!!) We had so much fun just relaxing by the pool, getting ice cream everyday, taking E to the park to swing, and spending time with each other. Here are a few, well actually more than I should probably upload, pics of our trip:

six months

To my dear Esther,

I can hardly believe that you are half a year old! This past month has been filled with so many fun and exciting times. Since I never posted a 5 month post then we will cover the past two months now. You are the strongest little girl I have ever seen. You insist on standing on my lap holding my thumbs. You think you are big but your still a baby and sometimes I just want to hold you like one! You learned to sit up when you were 4.5 months but your still a little wobbly. You are trying so very hard to crawl. You have the legs down perfect, but you haven't figured out the arms yet. You can only be held on the hip or facing outward otherwise you will crawl up my stomach.. I have no idea where you think your going but you go. You love your praise CD! It works like magic.. when I turn it on you get silent. Any other CD or radio does not work but this particular CD you love! Daddy and I laugh so hard because when one particular song some on (track 2) you put your arms out with your hands wide open and it looks like your worshipping. Maybe you are.. We enrolled you in a swim class with your cousin Staples, and your friend James.  We have only been once but you seemed to like it. In fact, we are about to go again now! You have zero interest in baby food. I have tried several times and each time you gag and look like your tasting the grossest thing ever. So we will try again in a few weeks. Although you love mum mums, banana puffs, pancakes (yes, pancakes.. the doctor said it was ok), oranges, and I think that is everything you've had (unless gramma is sneaking you something =)). Speaking of the doctor, we switched pediatricians this month and I love your new doctor! He goes to our church and I am so grateful he is your doctor. At the appointment, we talked about your sleeping patterns and how each night is totally different. You have no schedule and you wake up crying 3 times a night. He told me to let you cry it out.  He said it may take 2 hours but just leave her in there. I was dreading doing this because I can't stand to hear you cry. Ever since that appointment you have slept so good! You heard the doctor say "cry it out" and you wanted no part in that. So the past week you have slept 12-13 hours a night with not a single peep! woohoo! I am so proud and so happy that I didn't have to let you cry. Hopefully it lasts. You weigh 16 pounds (67%) and you are in the 53% in height. Healthy girl! =)

I am so proud to be your mom. Each day brings something new and I love watching you grow. You are the biggest blessing in my life and I can't thank the Lord enough for you.
