all you need is love

This valentines was simple. no gifts, no fancy restaurant, no nice clothes, just prav, olive and myself hanging at home. Esther was in beaumont spending some time with the Kannegantis and she had a blast! We ate dinner at home in our pjs and just enjoyed being with each other. Isn't that what valentines is all about? being with the ones you love? It was quiet and nice.

love is all you need.

15 months

we had Esther's 15 month check up recently and everything went great. kind of. She HATES the doctors office. I know I know all kids do, but I mean she screams at the top of her lungs when anyone walks in the room. It took the nurse 10 minutes to get her weight because she was kicking and screaming. I think he gave up and just guessed she was 21 pounds. She looks happy in the pics cause I gave her some snacks =)

random things about estie:
-favorite word- "yeppp" not sure how she learned it but she says it all day.
-favorite food- probably blueberries
-sleeping from 7pm -7:30 or 8am
-loves being a big sister
-enjoying tiny tots and tunes at Second.
-has skinny little legs
-is attached to her blanket. big time.

we took a little trip to the museum the other day and had a blast! we got a membership and will be going back often!

one month

little miss olive is one month!

your first month with us as been wonderful! you are now 10+ pounds, eating well, we are working on sleeping more at night. you are sleeping every 3 hours pretty consistently. you have outgrown newborn diapers AND size ones so you're in twos! healthy girl =)

you have been so many places in your little life- inails, the church nursery, plenty of restaurants, target, HEB, the childrens museum, ect.. you are so content and happy. 

your big sister, Esther, is really falling in love with you. she comes up all the time to give you kisses and pat your back. anytime you make any kind of noise esther says "uh oh"and runs to where you are. so sweet. 

we love you, olive. 

we are so happy you are you. =)

Olive is here!

Our precious daughter arrived on December 28th. I checked into the hospital at 4, was in a room around 5 and had her at 10:12pm! She came quick and was a healthy girl weighing in at 8 pounds and 15 ounces. I couldn't believe it when the nurse called out her weight. She came out looking just like Esther but she has started to take on her own look and she is as cute as can be! Pravin and I feel so blessed to be the parents of Esther and Olive and we appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers.
