hi mama and dada!

hiiiiiii!

I am having the best week with my family (how come I can't see them everyday?!)! Uncle Prav, Aunt Gen and Esther took me to marble slab. It was yuuum yuuum but don't worry- I just had a few bites =)

we have played golf a lot, and helped papa clean up his putting green..

we watched gramma make cupcakes...

AND we helped gramme make cupcakes...

And of course, a lot of love for esther...

It has been a really fun weekend! I can't wait to see you soon! love you mama. love you dada.

Dear Prav,
Esther and I both appreciate your hard work and dedication to your job. Waking up at 4:45 and going to bed around 10:30 for weeks straight has to be hard but you never complain! you are awesome.  thank you for working so hard. we love you and miss you!!!! april 18th.. april 18th.. april 18th...

she sits!.. sort of

Esther has been practicing sitting up today and she is doing SO good! When she is sitting there she smiles real big like she knows she is doing something funny. She is no expert by any means but hey she's getting there! Way to go E!! sorry for the quality of pics--best I could do!

Last Sunday, everyone at church dressed in their cowboy outfits in honor of the rodeo this week in Houston. Pravin and I were in Austin for a wedding but my mom dressed E up and I am sure she was the cutest cowgirl in the nursery =)

4 months

To my Esther,

I cannot believe that you are already four months! Where has the time gone? We have had so much fun this month and I love seeing your personality really starting to show. Your so sweet and so precious- I just love taking you with me wherever I go. This month your squeaks seemed to almost go away. I didn't think this two months ago but I really miss those squeaks! I still hear them when you laugh though.. =). Right when you turned 3 months you decided you had enough of the paci and you wanted your thumb. I think it is precious when I go check on you (during your 3 hour naps!!) and your sucking your thumb. Not only do you love sucking your thumb but you want to suck on it while your drinking your bottle! I don't know why but you want your thumb in there too!  You love your playmat, exersaucer and especially your baths.. sometimes I bathe you in the bumbo (when I'm in a hurry) but I think you prefer to be in your tub. Your favorite part about your bath is when I clean under your neck. Everytime I move my hands under your neck you get the biggest smile-- I have got to get a picture!! Our music class ends this month but I am going to sign us up again because I think you really enjoyed it. You still do not enjoy your car seat. I have tried two different ones now and no luck. Sorry baby but we have places to go! On March 3rd, we went to the doctor to get your shots and you did great! Before the nurse put the band aid on you were back to your smiley self!

sunday night dinner

Every Sunday night my mom hosts dinner for the family. Most of the time she makes a BIG (duggar style) pot of soup but every now and then she mixes it up. And of course dessert too! This past sunday she made cupcakes and oh my they were delicious.. right kathryn?! =)

chicken pasta salad

yum, yum, yum!!!

I have been craving this pasta salad for awhile now and I finally got around to making it. It is so delicious and very simple to make. Its just me and E for lunch, but we are doing it right!
